Travel Updates and Guidelines

Coach Travel Recommendations

We have some exciting tours coming up and are continuing to plan more into the future. However, numbers will be reduced on these tours until we receive further advice from Transport For NSW.

The government has advised several recommendations around coach travel, which will mean that things are going to be a little different for a while. These include:

  • The allocation of seating based on every second seat (and backfill spare seats if required). Passengers from the same household may be allocated to sit together.

  • Guidance to passengers for self-serve baggage packing and collection from luggage bins.

  • The provision of hand sanitiser for passengers prior to departure.

  • New pre-departure procedures (including a quick questionnaire) to verify that no passenger is feeling ill.

  • Driver commentary to remind passengers to wash their hands thoroughly before re-boarding after a meal stop.

As always, we ask that you please DO NOT travel if you feel sick, have flu like symptoms, have travelled overseas or interstate in the past 14 days, or are meant to be self-isolating.

We will keep you updated on the guidelines and will be in touch with any further updates.

Travel Restrictions

Travel within NSW:

NSW residents are able to take a holiday in the state, but are being asked to avoid areas that have been declared hotspots.

Things to know:

  • You can visit anywhere in NSW for recreation and holiday purposes

  • You still need to follow physical (social) distancing and good hygiene practices

  • Public Health advise is still in place and should be monitored regularly

Inter-state travel:

States and territories can apply their own restrictions, including closing their state borders and additional quarantine requirements.

Find out more about restrictions in your state or territory.

Overseas Travel:

All overseas travel is currently banned, with few exceptions.

If you’re overseas and want to return, we continue to urge you to do so as soon as possible while flights are available.

Where there aren’t options, we’re working to make flights available for you.

If you can't leave or prefer to stay where you are, make plans for an extended stay.
